The Only Constant is Change!
I am playing around with the concept of #Change today since i truly believe it is a hugely motivating force for me. Last year i started #coldwaterswimming everyday or thereabouts because of one of the biggest changes for women had started. It amuses me that ‘change’ is actually the phrase used to describe women going through the #menopause and if I’m honest it has been equally as positive as it has been negative. It has made me #challenge myself in new ways but equally it has made things much harder too. The entire aging process seems to be all about having to try that little bit harder. For all sorts of reasons our #energy drops our #mindset plays games and our #bodies put up new #barriers that were not there before.
I think it’s really important to remember that as we move through changes of any kind we have #choices . We can #embrace them, reject them, influence them and so much more. But the #key is to face it at your own pace and value your judgments. We all often think there is a correct way to change but the best way is your way. I’m constantly battling with changes in my fine motor skills as my mind and body disconnect from each other for all sorts of weird reasons but what allows me to continue on with all the changes is the feeling that who knows what new stuff will emerge as a direct or indirect result of the change.
#musicians , #actors , #comedians , #Artists and any creative soul knows that the unpredictability of our #creativity is when the real #magic occurs. The #uncertainty and #fear when something goes a bit wrong is usually quickly replaced by a sense of #wonder and #excitement as we live in the moment and become witness to the unexpected. It’s wondrous. We are constantly changing, our surroundings are changing but most exciting of all is the #belief that our #potentials are changing every #day .
